About Us
In 1968, engineers John Langford and Peter Madner founded Langmar Pty. Ltd., a tool design as well as plastics injection-moulding company dedicated to the conception and realisation of a broad assortment of innovative articles, amongst which kitchen utensils, bathroom accessories and other domestic items, automotive components, packaging machines and products for the pharmaceutical industry.
Attention to detail, originality in design and commitment to quality have assured the company of a diverse and satisfied customer base.
Directly its renowned, world-patented educational toy named Geoshapes® / Geofix® was released in 1992, Langmar commenced trading as GEO Australia Pty. Ltd.
GEO Australia specialises in producing hands-on teaching aids with thereto related didactic guides in collaboration with affirmed educators worldwide. The in-house range currently comprises 16 original product lines aimed both at specialty toy resellers as well as at educational markets. Except for our dice, all items are made and packed in Sunshine (Victoria, Australia) from engineering-grade polymers, such as polycarbonate and ABS.
Amongst other brands owned by GEO are pipe fittings named Ezy Caps® and Ezy Plug® plus the original hair brush, scalp vitaliser, dandruff remover and body massager NuBrush®, which dati back to 1973. These are distributed through different national and international wholesaling channels and contribute to the annual turnover.
Peter (Managing Director), John (Technical Director) and Dr. Paola Moritz (Export & Intl. Training Mgr.) run the company with zeal and incessant dedication.
